Fall Kicks

ONE // TWO // THREE // FOUR // FIVE // SIX

I'm beefing up my fall wardrobe (because a girl can dream that fall will hit Texas one day soon, right?!) and thought I would share these great casual shoe options. I'm totally digging the sneaker trend right now because let's face it, I'm a sneaker girl all day, on the daily.

I snagged the $20 pair of cheetah sneakers at Target last month (option three above) and have already worn them non-stop. Love them!! Cheetah is just a neutral in my book....

Sheving Crush + WM Finds

I've loved this shelf from World Market for quite some time. It's industrial looking, but new (the best of both worlds in my opinion!). I was recently catching up on my friend Natalie's blog when I realized she has this exact shelf in her studio. And, it looks fantastic. I just had to share photos. Love her styling and the fun + vintage accents in her studio space. Ch-ch-check it out..

So pretty and airy, right?!! Love her studio space! Pop over and say hi to Natalie (and visit her Etsy shop too!). And, whilst browsing the World Market website the other evening I noticed something. Remember this pretty canister set at Anthropologie?! Well. Ahem...

BOOM. Go getcha some. It's really too good to be true, y'all. Love every piece in the WM collection!!

Pom Love

Because there's no such thing as too many pom poms.
I googled for all of these fancy schmancy totes. And, I'm currently trying to find a cute + affordable option that IS in stock.
This one is cute, but not really affordable.
So is this one.

I'll keep y'all posted.

Monogrammed Hooks {World Market}

I was browsing the intry-net last night and came across a big surprise. It really shouldn't be that big of a surprise to me because World Market has totally begun to step up their home decor game in the last year or so. Anyhow, I stumbled upon these monogrammed letter hooks:

The very (exact!!) same hooks that I've owned for six years now. The ones that I bought from Anthropologie for $14 each. You guys remember these?!

I had them here in our Birmingham house-

And, here they live now, in our apartment-

They were well worth the money I paid because we've used them every single day for the last six years, but they would ESPECIALLY be worth the $7.99 price tag at World Market. That's right. Same product. Less than half the price.

If you need hooks for your things- these are perfectly cute. Vintage feel and really sturdy. I promise that I've given them a HECK of a workout with our belongings and they're still going strong. (The only difference I see between mine and the WM hooks are the ceramic tip on mine.)

Happy Tuesday, y'all!

Roost-what?

Historically I'm not a fan of roosters. I mean, I like to eat eggs. A lot. And, I think little baby chicks are cute. But, roosters? I've never really been a fan. However, these rooster ceramic pieces-- I'm a fan.

In fact, I need them in my life. Now. They are perfectly springy + adorable. I love 'em-

I really like pretty things. They make life sweeter. I know that sounds silly. But, it's true. Making breakfast special by using a cute plate or mug. Just makes me happy.

Happy Monday, friends! I'm hoping this week goes by quickly. Jeremy is in NYC until Friday night and I miss him already!

Florals + Navy

Old Navy has several cute new additions to their Spring 2014 line. I thought I would mix things up a bit and share my current faves:

1. This adorable tasseled scarf. Love the orange tassels. Love infinity (less work to keep them tied + in place when I'm hauling Jonah about!)
2. A slouchy calico print sweatshirt. I would live in this. I love that calico print has finally come back around. I think we had wallpaper like this in our house when I was little. I love it. And I love this sweatshirt ($20!)
3. Cute d'orsay flats. This style just looks so cute on your feet!
4. This shaw-collar popover. I mean. Seriously how handsome would my little man look in it?! Or your little man?! Exactly.
5. Light washed slouchy skinny jeans for Jonah. I only like to send him to school in soft things, with a few washes these will be perfect!

Making Laundry Prettier

World Market does it again. Love, love that vintage style rolling cart. It would be perfect in our laundry room, or even in our living area. It would organize all of Jonah's footballs. Kick balls. Baseballs. His boy stuff. Hmmm. I might just have to put that one in the cart. Pun intended. And, I just love the little smiley face broom set. World Market really is my jam, y'all. Go, buy and make your chores a little prettier.

ps. I would also use the "storage" bin in our bathroom to corral all of our soaps, lotions and bubble bath!

New Year. New Grace.

Hey y'all. Did you know it's a new day? New year? Yep. That excites me.

I found the most adorable (and free!) pintable's today. Just stumbled right upon a treasure trove. Go look at these. Encouraging scriptures + beautiful artwork. For the win.

Happy Wednesday!

What's Brewin' {Monday Pick-Me-Up}

Do you need a Monday pick-me-up? I doooo.

Look at these cute monogrammed mugs that I found for a whopping $6. So cute, right? I think one of these (hint hint) would certainly cheer my Monday blues..

Tomorrow's my birthday and I'm gonna party like it's my birthday. Be in bed by 9pm. Drink an extra cup of joe. Splurge on an extra cupcake. You know how I roll...

World Market. You're My Jam.

World Market is my jam right now, y'all. Serr-us-lee. Every single time I walk through those doors or peruse their wares online. Bam. I find a treasure trove of gems.  Look and see.

Batter Bowl // Cookie Cutters // Paper Heart Mini Bundts

Good schtuff, right?? Their prices are just fantastic. The designs and colors are spot on right now. I would be happy to gift (or receive!) any one of these items!!

AND Y'ALL. I'm on an airplane to CHINA right now. Like, the REAL DEAL. China. I'm ecstatic. I have no idea what to expect, but I'm going with an open & positive attitude. I'll be working here until October 30th. Can't wait to share details of my trip!

Fab + Free Printables

Do you guys like free stuff? Me dos!!

These prints and labels are all free + super cute. I especially love the labels! The site also has blank ones free for download. Just print them out on sticker paper (available at Office Depot or Staples) and organize to your hearts content. Sounds like a good Saturday project to me. Well, Saturday project AFTER football season. Can I get a hey hey?!

Hope you enjoy! (The brave wings print is my all time fave. It's framed in my bathroom and is a cheerful daily reminder to be BRAVE!)

Biscuit Home {Fab New Finds}

I thought it would be fun to share new sources that I come across from time to time. I really enjoy finding new products + fresh looks and thought you might like to see them too. Sound good? Okay, it's a plan.

Recently, on Instagram I randomly stumbled upon Biscuit Home. Biscuit is a line of printed bedding at reasonable price points. Yes, the duvets are a little on the pricey side, but let's talk about reality. How often do YOU change up your bedding/bedroom decor? I'm a five or ten year girl. I know. Sounds terrible, but once I get things set I don't generally switch it all up. With that being said, I would be willing to spend $200 on bedding that I love and will keep + take care of for a few years! I'm a firm believer that you need good bedding and sheets. Pillows. We spend a LOT of time in our beds. I want mine to be cozy, comfy and really soft!

Unbeknownst to me there's an actual shop on Westheimer in Houston. I can't wait to visit and check out their fab goodies in person. If you can't visit their storefront, go HERE and check out their products (they even do crib sheets that are SO cute!!).

The week's half-way over. We got this!! The weekend's comin', y'all...

ps. Can you BELIEVE that today is August 1st?! The year is more than half-way over. Fall is just around the corner. I'm ecstatic to celebrate the little things with my Chunk in the coming months. Time flies. We're certainly having fun!!
