Thanksgiving 2015

We had the most wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with our families. We started off in Bryan at Ammy and Bacca's house and celebrated with our family there and then traveled back home and Mims, Papa and my siblings met us here in Houston for a fun weekend of food and football! I am most thankful for all of our family, and can't imagine life without them!

Jonah helped me make sugar cookies and we painted them together on Tuesday night. I also made mini pumpkin pies, and mini pecan pies (failed miserably at the mini pecans...they all stuck to the pan and I almost cried. true story) as well as the BEST garlic cheese grits casserole. The sugar cookies turned out so cute (and they were delicious!)...

I have such a good, and intense little helper! ;)

Ammy's table was set so pretty for lunch on Thanksgiving Day!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving Pre-School Feast

On Friday before Thanksgiving Jonah's pre-school hosted a Thanksgiving lunch. I was able to attend with Jonah and had so much fun with my little guy. He was so proud for me to sit by him, and to introduce me to all of his friends.

Jonah's teachers this year are the sweetest and have already made a wonderful impact on his life. I am thankful for a great school, and awesome teachers!! We made a school change when we moved over the summer and I can really tell a difference in this school. Their heart for the students and learning is so evident!

Dewberry Farm Pumpkin Patch

We took Jonah to the cutest little pumpkin patch farm recently and had the BEST day ever. The patch itself was totally man-made but our little guy could care less. He was SO excited to see the "pumpkin field" and took his time finding just the right pumpkin to take home. He selected a smaller pumpkin and took great care to hold it tightly on the ride back to the farm fun-land. He named his pumpkin "Junior".

They had the coolest little shed they turned into a corn play area (it was filled to the brim with corn) and that was Jonah's favorite part...along with the chocolate ice cream his Daddy bought him (it is still HOT here in Texas!).

I love making memories and going on little adventures with my guys!

How precious is this photo?! Jonah and Junior.

Halloween 2015

Say that three times fast. Halloween 2015. It was a scream. Okay. I'll stop.

Jonah wanted to be a firefighter. From the very beginning when I asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween he said "a firefighter, so I can saaave the day!". Okay. You got it.

I ordered his costume early, well before my China trip, and he was able to play in it for a solid month before Halloween. Basically Halloween heaven.

We invited his little buddies over to go trick- or -treating on our street and they had SO much fun together!! We had hearty creamy taco soup + the fixin's and had a great night together with friends.

How cute are the little buddies?!!
